Sometimes, when time is of a great value, it makes sense to make quick judgements from the cover? Not entirely the best idea, but most of the time it does no great harm. This is because everything comes in a package and the cover is an essential part of the package. Make sense?
So why the taboo and lecture on "do not judge by cover?" Be practical too.
