Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un

With every hard effort to step yourself up, comes a evil jerk that will try to stop you down.

It is the common work of the Saitan whose ambition is merely to discourage you from any non-sinful path you feel best suits you.

When genuine steps you take lead you towards to the path that you wish to progress, the Saitan will work harder to deviate you from progressing. And the Saitan will take any form that will best fit to accomplish the agenda. Most of the time the work of evil is by your side.

True enough. The Saitan many times succeeds in deterring you from your plans and you get very tired trying to keep up the struggle against this evil. You compromise to your detriment. You decide it is best to undo the plan to progress and instead stay still where you are.

When that happens, you, a believer, need to remember just one thing:

This world is temporary and taunted with trials and tribulations. Pains and pleasures of this world are neither a gain nor a loss to us. To allah We Belong. To Allah We Return (Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un).
